DailyLook is a personal weather decision assistant designed to help users understand current and upcoming weather conditions and provide practical weather-related recommendations.
DailyLook may process the following information:
DailyLook only accesses location after the relevant device permission has been granted. You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.
Location information is used to determine the weather conditions relevant to you and to generate weather-related recommendations.
DailyLook does not use location information for advertising or for tracking users across other applications or services.
DailyLook uses Open-Meteo to obtain weather information. Location information required for weather requests may therefore be transmitted to Open-Meteo for the purpose of retrieving weather data.
DailyLook may use artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI to help generate weather-related recommendations.
Weather and contextual information necessary to produce a recommendation may be processed by our backend service and OpenAI. DailyLook is designed to avoid sending your name or exact geographic coordinates to the AI service.
AI-generated recommendations are informational and should not be relied upon for emergency, safety-critical, medical, or other high-risk decisions.
DailyLook may provide optional integration with Spotify. If you choose to connect Spotify, authentication is performed through Spotify's authorization services.
DailyLook does not request or store your Spotify password. Information accessed through Spotify is limited to the permissions you approve during the Spotify authorization process.
Some application preferences and information may be stored locally on your device so that DailyLook can remember your settings and provide its features.
Certain authentication information may be stored using secure storage provided by the operating system where appropriate.
DailyLook does not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers only when necessary to provide application functionality, including:
Information stored locally by DailyLook remains on your device until it is removed by the application, you clear the application's data, or you uninstall the application.
Information processed by external service providers may be subject to their respective retention practices and privacy policies.
DailyLook is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the application.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect information processed by DailyLook. Communication with backend and external services is performed using secure network connections where applicable.
